Ernst Young, a global business consulting company, today named Insurance.com founder Dave Roush as Ohio entrepreneur of the year in the emerging business category. Rousch launched the Solon-based Insurance.
com in 2001. It helps consumers compare as many as a dozen auto insurance quotes from major companies and then buy the policy most attractive to them. Roush's model allows insurance-seekers to complete their purchases online or over the telephone in conversation with licensed agents.
